Additional Qualifications:

They should possess a comprehensive understanding of Early Years programs and challenges, a current Level I First Aid Certificate, and a track record of successful program implementation and community mobilization. 

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position must possess Early Childhood Care and Education training or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years working with young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Program Manager, our selected candidate will support child care providers by guiding them through funding applications, such as the Start Up Grant and Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, and connecting them with Licensing Officials. You’ll mentor them on child care philosophies, including play-based learning and health and safety, while also conducting site visits to offer practical guidance and model activities. Additionally, you'll develop and present educational sessions on the BC Early Learning Framework, assist with special events, and represent the CCRR program in the community. Your role also includes sharing culturally-responsive tools and resources to ease the stress for providers, families, and children.

Salary & Benefits:

$28.13 per hour
