ANHBC is currently seeking an experienced Team Lead for our Infant Program who shares ANHBC’s values to join our Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House team www.froghollow.bc.ca. Neighbourhood houses are highly collaborative with a strong team framework. The right person for this position is passionate about community development, social justice and is values-aligned with our organization.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, flexible, and compassionate individual to join our dynamic child care team as a Team Lead in the Infant Program at The Village @ Lord Nelson at 1355 Garden Drive, Vancouver.
About the Position
The Infant Program Team Lead is responsible for the provision of an early learning and care program that fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include leadership in developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families, and colleagues. This position provides overall leadership of the Infant Program and works closely and collaboratively with The Early Years Coordinator and with other Village Team Leads and Programs including the Toddler, 3-5, JK, and School Age Programs. This positions is part of the Child Care Leaders Team and works closely with all Frog Hollow Child Care programs.

Skills & Qualifications
- Infant Toddler Educator License
- Ability to provide programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and BC’s ELF
- Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with children of all abilities, families, and colleagues
- Ability to nurture the strengths and talents of the staff team and build a team committed to achieving common goals
- Experience in effectively leading and inspiring staff, volunteers, and practicum students
- Positive attitude, flexibility, adaptability, sensitivity, creativity, initiative, compassion, sense of joy, and enthusiasm
- Passion and commitment for ongoing professional development and growth
- Ability to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment
- Must be able to demonstrate strong communication, planning, organizational, and leadership skills
Salary & Benefits:
$26.31/hr plus competitive benefits package including 100% group medical benefits including EH and Dental and participation in the Municipal Pension Plan, 3 weeks’ vacation, sick time, and exceptional professional development opportunities
Plus $6.00 ECE Wage Enhancement.
