Casual Early Childhood Educator or Assistant

Required Experience:

At least one year experience in child care. Candidates who are familiar with the Reggio Emilia philosophy are preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist educator in setting up invitations and provations throughout the center. 

Supervising and engaging with children during daily routines and activities. 

Must be prepared to be outside with children everyday, rain or shine. 

Prepare snack, clean up after meals, and assist children with toileting as needed. 

Communicate effectively with parents during drop off and pick up regarding their child's day. 

Salary & Benefits:

$20-22/hour (plus WE) 

Paid 30 minute break

Grassroots Early Learning and Care is a Reggio Emilia inpsired licensed in-home group care for children 30 months to school age. We are a small center with 8 children and 2 staff and one resident cat.
