A Message From WCCRC in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
In response to the COVID pandemic, WCCRC closed our offices to the public and sent our staff to work from home in mid-March 2020. Since then, we have been working diligently from home and online, and honestly, we have worked harder than ever.
Now its time for us to return to the office and to begin serving the community in person, in new ways.
Starting July 14 we will be offering in-person service by appointment only for our Early Learning Library.
Our goal is to do whatever we can to keep staff and the public as safe as possible while providing essential limited services to our clients where we can. Here is what you can expect from us:
-
Appointments will be made with enough time between visitors to disinfect and clean common surfaces;
-
Plexiglass barriers will be used between staff and clients;
-
Staff will wear masks or face shields when serving clients - masks will be available for the public as well;
-
Everyone entering the office will be asked to use hand sanitizer and to practice physical distancing;
-
Clients are asked not to enter the building until it is time for the appointment; there is no waiting area in our front office;
-
We ask that you come on your own and not bring children to the appointment;
- If you need translation services, you can bring one additional person to help;
We ask for your patience and cooperation as we work through these new protocols and learn how best to provide our services. Your feedback is welcome.
