"We’re thrilled to have an opportunity to carry on the great work of ECEBC and support early childhood educators and other child care providers to access quality professional development through bursary funding.” Says Pam Preston, Executive Director, WCCRC.
The Province of B.C. is investing in a variety of programs through its three-year, $153 million Early Learning and Child Care Agreement with the Government of Canada. Funding for the WCCRC Professional Development Bursary is part of this agreement and will bring almost $1 million new dollars to support professional development access for child care providers and ECEs in BC. Support for registration fees as well as travel and accommodation costs will be included.
“Pam and the team at Westcoast are true supporters of early childhood educators and as such, we’re excited to have them impact PD across the province.” Says Emily Gawlick, Executive Director, ECEBC
NOTE: ECEBC will continue to administer the ECE Student Bursary and ECE Workforce Development Fund. visit ECEBC.ca or email bursary@ecebc.ca for more information.
