One door closes and another opens…

"We’re thrilled to have an opportunity to carry on the great work of ECEBC and support early childhood educators and other child care providers to access quality professional development through bursary funding.” Says Pam Preston, Executive Director, WCCRC. 

The Province of B.C. is investing in a variety of programs through its three-year, $153 million Early Learning and Child Care Agreement with the Government of Canada. Funding for the WCCRC Professional Development Bursary is part of this agreement and will bring almost $1 million new dollars to support professional development access for child care providers and ECEs in BC. Support for registration fees as well as travel and accommodation costs will be included.
