Friday Spotlight Episode 9: Candace Linklater

Welcome to Friday Spotlight Episode 9! In this episode, Nora introduces us to Candace Linklater, the "relentless Indigenous woman"  presenting our upcoming workshop Guiding Early Learning Through Indigenous Worldviews on Saturday April 23.

In episode 9, Candace shares her wisdom and experience as an educational leader. She discusses the image of children as whole beings and sacred, the ongoing effects of colonialism and how to incorporate authentic Indigenous worldviews and content into everyday teaching. Nora and Candace also chat about sustainability and fostering connection to the land using Indigenous ways of knowing to provide a lens for us to do this in ways that are respectful to the lands we live on.
