Back in February, Angel Li and Sandy Yip from WCCRC had the opportunity to join the Early Years Centre workshop Fear & Anxiety in Early Years, by Dr. Deborah Bell. Read their article to learn how to identify and provide support for anxiety in young children.
In June 2017, Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre and QMUNITY received funding from the Social Planning and Projects division of the City of Vancouver, to work together on a pilot project to raise awareness amongst early learning practitioners on inclusion of trans, gender variant and Two-Spirit children and families in their programs. Read our article about WCCRC's involvement in the project and connect to a range of resources for working with LGBTQ2S+ children and families.
We are now open at Suite #225-3665 Kingsway, Vancouver.

Recently, our CCRR staff had an opportunity to attend two Kids Have Stress Too! workshops during our annual Vancouver Coastal Regional CCRR training event offered at North Shore Community Resources.
