In partnership with MCFD, six organizations, including WCCRC, are sharing $6.3 million in funding to develop and expand professional development opportunities for child care professionals in B.C. This funding is part of the Province’s Early Learning and Child Care Agreement with the Government of Canada. WCCRC is preparing to distribute its share of this funding in the fall.

• We’re working to develop a fair & transparent application process for bursaries – our goal is to financially support Professional Development for ECEs and other child care providers regardless of where you live in the Province. 
• We’re working to develop training for those who want to learn more about managing and operating childcare programs – from governance to human resources and finance, operations, program planning and becoming a truly great leader in early learning.
